They encouraged my work ethic. I got my first job when I was 15 and seeing them get up and go to work each morning was kinda what inspired me to look for work that young. I did other things like mow lawns for money ect before I was 15 but I consider the first job I can cite on my resume as when I officially entered the work force. Even when I didn’t feel like getting up and out of bed on workdays, whether it was back then or today, I kinda look back and think about all the times I saw both my parents do that very thing over and over again. My father would often remark how difficult it could be for him to wake up at 5 AM for his daily morning work out, but he always got up and worked out. This kinda added extra encouragement, watching him do that for all the years I spent in that house.
